In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir has condemned the authorities for not allowing the family members of illegally detained party Chairman, Muhammad Ashraf Sahrai, to meet him in Udhampur jail in Jammu.
The Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the authorities did not allow the family members to meet Ashraf Sehrai despite that fact that they fulfilled all the requirements including the report of COVID-19. It termed the action as sheer violation of basic human rights.
The statement said that Tehreek-e-Hurriyat and the people of the territory were deeply concerned that none of his family members were allowed to visit Ashraf Sehrai after his illegal arrest by the authorities.—KMS
