ISLAMABAD – Australia has introduced new conveniences for Pakistani citizens applying for visit, study or wok visas, effective today (November 25).
Reports said the Australian High Commissioner has confirmed the development, stating that Applicants can now submit their passport details and biometric data for visa applications directly through their smartphones
He added that the details can be submitted through the Australian Immigration app, allowing for a smoother and faster application process.
Australia is one of the world’s most developed countries and attracts millions of people annually for various legal purposes, including tourism, study, business, medical visits, and family reunification.
With this new digital initiative, Australia is further enhancing its visa application system, making it easier for Pakistani citizens to apply for travel visas.
Australia Visa Types
Before submitting their visa application, applicants must first determine the purpose of their visit. Australia offers several visa types, including visitor, study, business, medical, and family visit visas.
Applicants are required to carefully read and fill out a 13-page visa application form. It is essential that the information provided is accurate, complete, and consistent.
Along with the form, applicants must submit various necessary documents, including their passport, national identity card, bank statements, the reason for travel, and other supporting materials.
This initiative is expected to significantly reduce processing times and enhance the convenience of applying for an Australian visa from Pakistan.
