APHC leader Yasin Attai admitted in hospital

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Muhammad Yasin Attai has been admitted in a hospital in Srinagar.

Yasin Attai was detained by Indian police last week in Sopore police station where he was mentally and physically tortured and was released due to health problems. He was released from Indian jail a few months ago after prolonged illegal detention.

The APHC leader, who is suffering from heart, kidney and other health problems, is being tortured and harassed by Indian police and agencies after being summoned to police stations and army camps every now and then.

APHC-AJK leader Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob in a statement in Islamabad expressed concern over the deteriorating health of Muhammad Yasin Attai. He deplored that the ailing leader was being constantly harassed by the Indian police and troops.—KMS
