In a press conference held at the Thatta press club, Ahmed Nawaz Pathan, President of the All Pakistan Clerk Association (APCA) Sindh, voiced his disappointment regarding the prolonged delay in addressing the promotion concerns of numerous clerks within the education department.

Pathan highlighted that despite explicit directives from the primary and secondary education directors, the rightful promotions of 27 junior clerks, 21 senior clerks, and 48 other clerks have been denied. The education directors had issued letters to the district education officers in Thatta, instructing them to promptly establish a Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) to re-solve these issues.

During the press conference, he emphasized that these clerks have been patiently awaiting their well-deserved promotions for the past three years, as directed by the education directors.
