Animals dying as Lump Skin disease spreads in Nawabshah


Several animals lose their lives as Lump Skin Disease (LSD) is spreading fast in different parts of Nawab Shah division in Sindh, it was reported on Friday.

And to make matters further worse, the vaccine prescribed for the treatment of the disease has gone missing in markets and is available only in black at the prices fluctuating between Rs70, 000 to Rs80, 000.

Dr. Tariq Noorani, a vet, has said that the animals infected with the disease develop swellings on different parts of their skin. — INP
