The fascist government of Bharatiya Janata Party in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, continuing to interfere in the religious affairs of Muslims under the guise of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, has ordered the suspension of all officers and staff of Dargah Hazratbal.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board has ordered the suspension of all the officers and staff of Dargah Hazrat Bil on the pretext of neglecting their duties on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi.
According to the order, the action was taken on public complaints on the occasion of the Chairperson’s surprise visit to the shrine on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi. The order said that the officers and staff con-cerned have failed to provide adequate facilities to the devotees despite repeated orders and instructions. In view of this, all the officers and staff of Dargah Hazratbal have been immediately suspended for serious negligence in their duties, the order added.
The order says that an investigation team, headed by the Chairperson, has been formed to investigate the matter.
It should be mentioned that the authorities have appointed Bharatiya Janata Party executive member Dr Darakhshan Andrabi as the Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board.—KMS
