In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Lok Manch Jammu held a one day meet at Chadwal under the chairmanship of its Convener, Prempal Singh.
Senior leader and peace activist I D Khajuria inaugurating the session said after the outbreak of COVID-19 world is at breaking point and needs restructuring and an alternate political and economic development model based on principles and policies of pro-nature pro-human centric concept of change and development.
He also draw the attention of participants towards the Modi government’s unconstitutional and illegal action of repealing the special status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 05, 2019, and caging the people of the territory incommunicado. He said, “4G internet facility is not available till today. Tourism and trade effected badly. Jammu hoteliers, taxis services, education of children, development projects dashed to the ground and toll plazas are gift of this period,” he said.
Other speakers including Convener Lok Manch Prempal Singh, Gitten Singh, Kulbushan Singh, B L Kandley and Atul Jamwal stressed upon the members to get unite and raise burning problems of people.—KMS
