In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, three more leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from south Kashmir have resigned citing various reasons.
According to Kashmir Media Service, this comes after the killing of BJP Sarpanch, Sajad Ahmad Khanday, by unidentified gunmen in Vessu area of Qazigund.
Reports said that three more BJP leaders from South Kashmir announced to quit the party. Those who quit BJP are Shabbir Ahmed Khan Reyaz Ahmed Rathar and Abdul Khaliq Sheikh all residents of Narupora Watnard area of Kokernag.
They announced their resignation from BJP in a statement circulated on social networking site WhatsApp.
Pertinently, on the day when whole BJP party was celebrating the 1st anniversary of the removal of Article 370, three-party workers from the south Kashmir, Sabzar Ahmed Paddar, Nisar Ahmed Wani and Ashiq Hussain Palla resigned from the party.—KMS
