RDA issues notices to owners of five illegal housing schemes

In line with the directives of Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Muhammad Arif Abbasi, the Directorate Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) RDA is taking strict action against illegal housing schemes.
The Metro Politian Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate RDA under section Punjab Private Housing Schemes and Land Subdivision Rules 2010 Rules 2010 on Wednesday issued legal notices to the owners of five illegal housing schemes namely New Airport Town, Airport Residencia, CBR Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme (CBR ECHS) Phase-II, CBR Residencia and Blue Hills Farm Houses Islamabad.
Director MP&TE directed owners of above mentioned housing schemes to stop all sort of illegal activities. They have been warned to stop illegal development immediately otherwise RDA would demolish/seal the site and booking offices of the illegal housing schemes in Rawalpindi and First Information Report (FIR) would be registered in relevant Police Stations against the owners of illegal housing schemes.
