Pakistan Railways has decided to operate four special trains to facilitate people reach their hometowns for celebration of Eidul Azha. According to Railways administration, booking will be limited to 60 percent of the total seats due to coronavirus threat. Other measures will also be put in place to ensure effective Implementation of the SOPs. The PR administration has prepared schedule of the special trains, which will be released after final approval of the decision of Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed. The PR administration has expressed the resolve to ensure SOPs to check coronavirus threat. First Eid Special Train is expected to leave Karachi for Rawalpindi at 11:45am on July 28,2020. On the other hand, people have welcomed the PR decision to run special eid trains. They said that it is good and pro-people as it will facilitate passengers greatly to reach their homes for Eidul Azha celebration.
