Renowned Pakistani-origin British boxer Aamir Khan visited Chakothi Sector along the Line of Control on Tuesdy as part of a humanitarian visit to raise his voice for peace. He also met with DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor. Talking to media on the occasion, he said peaceful resolution of the issue is vital to end the sufferings of Kashmiri people.
He said I am here to solidarity with Indian firing affecters’ and people in occupied Kashmir. He said on return to UK, I will invite attention of the world community towards plight of the Kashmiris besieged in the occupied valley since August 5 when India revoked the region’s special status and cut off all communications there. He said my heart beats with the people of occupied Kashmir who are living under siege.
He strongly condemned India’s actions in occupied Kashmir and urged the international community to help end the human rights violations perpetrated by Indian forces in the occupied valley. He added I will continue to be the voice of Kashmiris against Indian brutalities in the Occupied Valley. Amir Khan thanked the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor for organizing his visit to the LoC.
