Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza said the federal capital has done wonders in controlling the contagion.
In a tweet, the special assistant said Islamabad has seen a 95% decline in positive cases. On June 13, 4,136 tests were carried out with 771 positive results and on July 20, 1,452 tests were carried out and only 26 positive results.
Mirza lauded the District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Zaeem and local administration teams for their hard work.
