A launching ceremony of the book ‘Zeest’, based on poetic verses by Ahsan Ashraf (late) was arranged under auspices of Rawalpindi Arts Council.
The ceremony was presided over by his elder brother Ch Muhammad Rafiq and anchored by Deputy Director RAC Sajjad Hussain. The ceremony also addressed by Director RAC Waqar Ahmed, Malik Umer Hayat, Sharjil Ashraf, Ch Muhammad Rafiq, and Mian Muhammad Shahzad.
The speakers threw light on the work and personality of Ahsan Ashraf. His poetry having multi-dimension were discussed in detail. In second part of the ceremony Deputy Director Punjab Arts Council Ghulam Abbas Farasat sang the poetry of Ahsan Ashraf and received thunder appreciation.—INP
