Xen launches crackdown on water thieves

Xen PHE Lasbela has launched a crackdown on water thieves by installing illegal connections to main water supply pipeline to Gaddani. The operation was carried out on reports of water theft by the operators of every housing scheme and hotel business at Bhawani from main supply lines.
The illegal pipes were seized and several illegal connections were disconnected. A joint operation by the district administration has ensured uninterrupted supply of water to Gadani Jail and Gaddani city. xen PHE says a full-scale campaign has been launched against water thieves.
