Governor Mission World Peace and Ambassador of Peace of United Nations Umair Ahmed Arainhas said that in Pakistan the rights of minorities are fully covered under the constitution and law. That is why Pakistan is a peaceful, prosperous and a responsible country in South Asia that is striving for peace.
He expressed these views under during the meeting with Chairman Churches AllainceGulrez Pasha who called on him along with Raja Ghulam Mustafa, Arsalan ,WasimAnjum, YounusGhul, BarkatMasih and George Anthony.
Arain said that Muslims respect the believers of all religions and the citizens here want Pakistan to promote tolerance so that all the minorities will have their legitimate rights and lastingpeace.He said the role of minority communities in the construction and development of the country is worthwhile. “Jesus (PBUH) is respected and loved by the Muslims and Islam is the religion of peace and gives the message to be good with every religion believer. Arain said in the development of this country the Christian community has played a great role, and be it Sikhs or Hindus or Christians their rights and place is defined well in this country.
