Farhan Yousuf to Lead Pakistan in U19 Asia Cup 2026

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2026, scheduled to be held in Oman from November 5 to 14.

Defending champions Pakistan will be captained by Farhan Yousuf and placed in Group A alongside India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Nepal in the eight-team tournament.

The squad includes wicketkeeper-batters Abdul Qadir and Hamza Zahoor, along with batters Usman Khan, Hayam Khan, Jahangir Bilal and Huzaifa Ahsan. All-rounders Ahmed Hussain and Hasnain Abbas Dar are also part of the team.

The pace attack comprises Abdul Subhan, Mohammad Seyam, Ali Raza and Rizwanullah, while Mohammad Huzaifa and Niqab Shafiq will provide the spin options.

Of the 15 selected players, only Ali Raza and Huzaifa Ahsan were not part of the Pakistan U19 side that defeated England 3-1 in a four-match Youth ODI series in September.

Pakistan won the previous edition of the tournament in the United Arab Emirates, defeating India by 191 runs in the final at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.

Pakistan will open their title defence against the UAE on November 6, followed by a clash with India on November 8 and a match against Nepal on November 10. All three fixtures are scheduled to begin at 10 am Pakistan Standard Time.

Group B features Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. The semi-finals will be played on November 12, with the final scheduled for November 14.
