Pakistan have won both their opening matches and need another victory to secure a place in the October 31 final. England, having lost both previous games, face possible elimination with another defeat.
The visitors are coming off a two-wicket loss to Sri Lanka despite scoring 429-4 in Rawalpindi. Sri Lanka have won one of their two matches in the three-team tournament.
