Punjab Class 5 Board Exams Registration Opens This Month

PESHAWAR – The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has postponed matric supplementary examination papers scheduled from October 7 to 10 due to the PTI long march, according to board officials.

The Peshawar Board said papers for the Matric Supplementary Examination-II 2026 scheduled during the four-day period have been deferred. The revised dates will be announced later, the board’s controller said.

However, examinations scheduled after October 10 will be conducted according to the previously issued date sheet.

Meanwhile, the PTI long march, being led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, is continuing, with participants reaching Kohat. The participants are scheduled to proceed towards Peshawar today.

Speaking about the march, Afridi said decisions made behind closed doors would not be accepted and that the party would announce its next course of action in Swabi.

He said the party’s demands were legitimate and constitutional, adding that he could not be bought regardless of the amount of money offered.

The chief minister also referred to an upcoming T20 match scheduled to begin on October 8.
