ATTOCK – TikToker Laiba Gujratan allegedly entered Attock police post, pulled out hand gun and opened fire on Head Constable, with the bullet reportedly narrowly missing him after passing through his wallet.
A case was registered at Police Station Saddar Hassan Abdal as incident took place at around 8:45pm on October 4, 2026, at Police Post Burhan, approximately nine kilometres west of the police station.
The complainant, identified in the FIR as Head Constable Haseeb-ul-Hassan, said he was performing his duties as Moharrir at police post when Liba Tariq alias “Gujratan”, allegedly entered the post. The woman then confronted him, asking why he allegedly talked about her “everywhere.” Haseeb-ul-Hassan said he denied discussing her, but the situation allegedly escalated.
FIR said that Hasrat Khan, Constable No. 1864/C, entered the office after hearing the commotion and attempted to intervene. The complainant alleges that Gujratan then pulled out a 30-bore pistol from her purse/belongings and fired directly at him with the intention of killing him.
The bullet allegedly struck the complainant’s shirt just below the left-side pocket and passed through a wallet inside the pocket, while he remained physically unharmed.
FIR further said the police post was without electricity at the time. Taking advantage of the darkness, the alleged shooter reportedly fled the scene while carrying the weapon.
Following the incident, police registered a case under Section 324 of the Pakistan Penal Code, relating to attempted murder, on the complaint of HC Haseeb-ul-Hassan.
Police have initiated an investigation and, according to the supplied report, are conducting raids in an effort to arrest the accused.
The complainant told police that he had previously been posted at another police post where he had acquaintance with Liba Tariq, describing the relationship as limited to basic greetings and social interaction.
FIR places the alleged shooting squarely at Police Post Burhan and records the complainant’s claim that the shot was fired with an intention to kill him. Police have yet to share investigation findings of alleged shooting, the weapon used, the motive and the whereabouts of the accused.
