Lieutenant General Inayat — XII Corps Quetta

Lieutenant General Inayat has reportedly been assigned command of XII Corps, Quetta.

The Quetta-based corps is responsible for a major military formation in Balochistan, where security operations, counterterrorism efforts and protection of strategic locations remain among the key responsibilities of the military.

The appointment makes Lieutenant General Inayat one of the senior commanders taking charge of an important field formation in the latest reshuffle.

Lieutenant General Amir Najam — II Corps Multan

Lieutenant General Amir Najam has reportedly been appointed Commander of II Corps, Multan.

A senior Army officer, Amir Najam has held important command, staff and training-related responsibilities during his career. He has also served as Chief Instructor at the National Defence University.

He hails from 19 Sindh Regiment and the 84 PMA Long Course and has been among senior officers recognised with the Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military). His reported appointment now places him at the head of II Corps in Multan.

Lieutenant General Shakirullah Khattak — I Corps Mangla

Lieutenant General Shakirullah Khattak has reportedly been assigned command of I Corps, Mangla. Khattak is associated with the Armoured Corps and was commissioned into the 13 Lancers.

His career has included important field, intelligence and defence-related appointments. He has previously commanded the 7th Infantry Division and served as Director General Analysis at the Inter-Services Intelligence.

Lieutenant General Umer Bashir — IV Corps Lahore

Lieutenant General Muhammad Umer Bashir has reportedly been appointed Commander of IV Corps, Lahore. Before the latest reported reshuffle, Umer Bashir was serving as Vice Chief of General Staff.

He belongs to the 86 PMA Long Course and is associated with the 140 Medium Regiment Artillery. He has also been among senior officers who received the Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military). Lieutenant General Imdad — Training and Evaluation

Major General Bilal — from the 86 PMA Long Course.

Major General Wajid Aziz — from the 86 PMA Long Course and serving as Director General Military Intelligence.

Major General Muhammad Umer Bashir — from the 86 PMA Long Course and serving as Vice Chief of General Staff.

Major General Muhammad Imtinan Babar — an Engineers officer from the 87 PMA Long Course and General Officer Commanding 45 Engineer Division.

Major General Nadeem Ashraf — an Artillery officer from the 87 PMA Long Course, associated with the Weapons & Equipment Directorate.
