At first glance, Dananeer Mobeen and Shahveer Jafry may not seem like the pairing one would expect to see at the centre of a serious, socially charged drama. Yet Hurmat, HUM TV’s upcoming serial, appears determined to challenge exactly those assumptions. But Hurmat does not appear to be simply another story about a strict father and a rebellious daughter.
