The Board of Peace has announced that Hamas has agreed to a detailed roadmap for implementing the next phases of the Gaza ceasefire, including a commitment to relinquish all its weapons in exchange for a phased Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.

In a statement posted on X, the Board of Peace said the agreement was reached with the support of mediating countries Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye, and the United States following months of negotiations.

According to the statement, the roadmap advances the next stage of the Gaza ceasefire and outlines plans for governance, security, humanitarian relief, reconstruction, and economic recovery.

The Board of Peace described the agreement as “a historic breakthrough,” stating that “for the first time, Hamas officially has committed to an actionable plan for relinquishing all its weapons, which will be followed by Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.”

The statement added that the roadmap “holds the promise of delivering significant benefits to the people of Gaza, who have waited for too long for a better future, and security to the people of Israel.”

The Board of Peace said its focus has now shifted to implementing the agreement. It stated that it has been working closely with the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), which is expected to begin a phased transition toward full governing authority with the support of the International Stabilization Force (ISF).

According to the statement, the transition will also accelerate the implementation of the rule of law, security measures, and humanitarian improvements across Gaza.
