ISLAMABAD – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that the filing process for income tax returns for Tax Year 2026 will begin from Monday, July 27, 2026.
In a post shared on X, the tax authority informed taxpayers about the opening of the return filing period and encouraged them to submit their declarations carefully and responsibly.
The FBR advised taxpayers to ensure that the information provided in their returns is complete, accurate and based on true details. It emphasized that timely and honest compliance plays an important role in strengthening the country’s tax system.
Income Tax Return filing for Tax Year 2026 will open from Monday, 27 July 2026. All taxpayers are advised to file their returns accurately & honestly, ensuring that all declared information is true & correct. Timely & truthful compliance strengthens the tax system for everyone.
