ISLAMABAD – The Judicial Commission of Pakistan has recommended appointment of additional judges in Sindh, Islamabad, and Peshawar high courts.
The Commission, by a majority of its total membership, recommended the appointment of Muhammad Humayon Khan, Suresh Kumar, District & Sessions Judge, and Dr. Shah Nawaz Memon as additional judges of the Sindh High Court (SHC).
It has also recommended the appointment of Ayyaz Shaukat, Advocate, Shahrukh Arjumand, District & Sessions Judge and Umair Majeed Malik, Advocate, as additional judges of the Islamabad High Court.
The Commission recommended, by a majority of its total membership, the confirmation of the following Additional Judges as Judges of the Peshawar High Court, after due consideration of the relevant Data Forms, Antecedents, and evaluation of material placed before it.

Justice Inaam Ullah Khan
Justice Sabit Ullah Khan
Justice Aurangzeb
It has also recommended the extension of the term of Justice Khalid Hussain Shahani as Additional Judge of the High Court of Sindh for a period of six months, after due consideration of the relevant Data Forms, Antecedents, and evaluation of material placed before it.
While Mr. Justice Syed Fiaz ul Hassan Shah, Additional Judge, High Court of Sindh, was not confirmed.
The Commission, by a majority of its total membership, recommended the extension of the term of the Constitutional Benches of the High Court of Sindh for a period of three months.
