ISLAMABAD – Millions of mobile phone users across Pakistan are set to pay more for staying connected after leading telecom operators Jazz, Zong, Ufone, and Telenor increased the prices of several voice and internet packages, with some popular bundles becoming up to 33 percent more expensive.
The new tariff shows price hikes across wide range of prepaid hybrid call and data bundles, adding another financial burden for consumers already grappling with rising living costs.

Among the biggest increases, monthly packages have become up to Rs500 more expensive, while the prices of 15-day bundles have jumped by as much as Rs300. Subscribers will also have to pay up to Rs130 more for weekly packages, while three-day bundles have increased by up to Rs21, two-day offers by Rs20, and one-day packages by up to Rs5.
The revised tariffs affect several commonly used prepaid bundles, meaning customers who rely on regular call and internet packages will now have to spend more to enjoy the same services.
Amid growing concerns over frequent tariff revisions, the PTA has announced measures aimed at improving transparency and protecting consumers. The regulator has upgraded the Consumer Awareness section on its official website, allowing users to compare package prices, validity periods, and included call, SMS, and data benefits before subscribing.
Under the revised policy, mobile operators can now increase package prices only once every quarter, replacing the previous practice of more frequent revisions. In addition, every proposed tariff increase must receive prior approval from the PTA before it can be implemented, giving the regulator greater oversight over future price changes.
