Islamabad Traffic Police have issued a travel advisory, announcing temporary traffic diversions on several major roads in the federal capital in connection with the arrival and departure of foreign delegations.
Diversions will be implemented at various times on the Express Highway, Srinagar Highway, Jinnah Avenue, Murree Road, and Club Road.
Srinagar Highway from Serena Chowk to 26 Number Chungi will experience diversions at various times while commuters have been advised to use Iran Avenue, Margalla Road and Jinnah Avenue as alternative routes.
In case of diversion on Faisal Avenue from Khayaban Chowk to Rawat T-Cross on the Express Highway, citizens have been advised to use Jinnah Avenue and Ninth Avenue. Those travelling from Korang can use Old Airport Road, Rawal Road, Rawalpindi Murree Road and Ninth Avenue.
The advisory stated that if Korang Express Highway, Murree Road or Club Road are closed, motorists should use Old Airport Road, Rawal Road, Rawalpindi Murree Road and Ninth Avenue as alternate routes.

Similarly, citizens traveling outside Islamabad should use Ninth Avenue from Jinnah Avenue.
During the diversions, there is a possibility of increased traffic pressure on the roads, so citizens should leave 20 to 25 minutes earlier for their journeys.
