KARACHI – Gold prices rebounded in Pakistan on Wednesday, with rate of per tola climbing above Rs4.25 lac after gaining Rs900, in line with a recovery in the international bullion market.
On Wednesday, Gold prices increased by Rs900 to settle at Rs425,036. The rate of 10 grams of gold also moved higher by Rs771, reaching Rs364,399.

The latest increase follows Tuesday’s sharp correction, when the price of one tola had dropped by Rs5,600 to Rs424,136, highlighting the continued volatility in the precious metals market.
In the international market, gold prices advanced by $9 per ounce, taking the global rate to $4,026 per ounce, including a premium of $20. The improvement in global bullion prices provided support to domestic rates, resulting in Wednesday’s upward movement.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with one tola continuing to trade at Rs6,289.
