Islamabad Load Shedding Schedule For July 15 Check Areas Timings

ISLAMABAD – Residents across several parts of Islamabad and nearby districts will need to plan their day around scheduled power outages on Wednesday after the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) announced a maintenance drive affecting dozens of feeders.

The temporary shutdowns, aimed at improving the electricity network, will impact consumers in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal for several hours. Consumers across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal will face scheduled power outages amid routine maintenance and network development work.

Power supply in Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 5:00 am to 10:00 am for consumers connected to the Tramari, Lehtrar, ISI, Chattha and Rehara feeders.

In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, electricity will be disconnected on the Ghazan Khan feeder from 5:00 am to 10:00 am, while consumers served by the Kambeli Sadiq feeder will face outages from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.

Meanwhile, residents in the Attock Circle receiving electricity through the Wah General Hospital feeder should prepare for a longer interruption, with supply scheduled to remain suspended from 5:00 am until 12:00 pm.

Consumers in the Jhelum Circle connected to the City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, Langarpur, Saeela, Pakhwal and F-9 (Chak Daulat) feeders will also remain without electricity between 6:00 am and 10:00 am.

Similarly, in the Chakwal Circle, power supply will be cut from 6:00 am to 10:00 am for the Khanpur, Jhand Khan Zada, Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur and CWO feeders.

Apart from feeder shutdowns, IESCO will also carry out maintenance on key high-voltage transmission infrastructure under the GSO Circle. Work on the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani Burhan transmission lines is scheduled from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. In addition, maintenance will continue from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132kV Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City Palandri and 132kV New Wah Bahtermore transmission lines, along with associated earth switches and related equipment.

The utility urged affected consumers to plan their activities accordingly, adding that the outages are necessary to improve the reliability and safety of the power distribution network.

IESCO also apologized for the temporary inconvenience and assured the public that electricity will be restored immediately after the maintenance work is completed. If the work finishes ahead of schedule, power supply will be resumed before the announced timings.
