iPhone 17 models in Pakistan now fall in a jaw-dropping price range of approximately Rs 400,000 to nearly Rs 900,000, depending on variant and storage capacity, making them among the most expensive smartphones ever officially priced in the country.

Despite the shocking prices, Apple’s iPhone 17 series continues to perform strongly worldwide. The lineup is reportedly the world’s best-selling smartphone series in 2026, driven by major upgrades such as more base storage across models, higher-resolution camera systems, improved display refresh rates and enhanced features that narrow the gap between standard and Pro variants.
These improvements have positioned the iPhone 17 as a “value upgrade” in global markets, but the story is very different in Pakistan.
The biggest burden for Pakistani buyers remains PTA approval taxes, which vary depending on registration method. Because the iPhone 17 series sits in the luxury flagship category, it falls under the highest tax slab.
