Transfer of traffic wardens in different districts, roataion policy and issues of renewal of traffic license having more than five years of expiry were examined.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Shoaib Dastgir said that after relaxation in lockdown and specially in the last decade of Ramazan, special attention should be given to traffic management on central roads especially in big cities and all available resources under comprehensive strategies should be utilized in order to maintain smooth flow of traffic for facilitation of the citizens whereas chief traffic officers should personally supervise the implementation of traffic control plan by moving into the field.
These views were expressed by him while chairing a session of matters of Traffic Police Department.
He further added that in the wake of easing down of lockdown, expected pressure of traffic. on roads, best management plan should be ensured for maintenance of smooth flow of traffic and there should be no delay in taking action against violation of traffic laws.
