The sensational report first appeared on November 6, citing anonymous “sources” and later other media picked it without checking background. It claimed about high-level meetings involving Pakistani, Israeli (Mossad), and US (CIA) officials, and falsely suggested Pakistan had agreed to deploy thousands of troops to Gaza.
Pakistani authorities quickly dismissed the claims, with the MoIB Fact Check Cell confirming that neither Pakistan, Israel, nor the United States had verified any such discussions.
This narrative is part of a larger disinformation trend originating from India. Severa media hourse debunked viral videos falsely showing General Munir at the Line of Control (LoC), highlighting repeated attempts to spread misleading information.
Analysts warn that the report appears to be a calculated attempt to distort Pakistan’s foreign policy and create confusion. Pakistani officials reiterated that any peacekeeping operations would occur only through legitimate multilateral channels, such as UN.
