ISLAMABAD – Petrol prices in Pakistan are likely to increase in upcoming fortnightly review for November 2025 amid uncertainty in global market.
Reports claimed that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has finalised a summary for revising petrol prices in Pakistan. The summary will be sent to the Minister of Finance on October 31.
The minister will announce the new petrol prices for November 1-15 after getting final nod from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Current Petrol Prices in Pakistan
Currently, the price of petrol in Pakistan stands at Rs263.02 per litre while high speed diesel is being sold for Rs275.42.
Similarly, the price of light speed diesel stands at Rs159.76 per litre while kerosene oil is available for Rs176.81.
Expected Petrol Prices from November 1
Reports suggest that petrol price is likely to increase by Rs2.35 per litre. If approved the expected petrol price in Pakistan would be Rs265.37 per litre.
Similarly, the piece of high speed diesel may increase by Rs2.50, taking the new price to Rs277.92 from November 1.
In international market, oil prices continued their downward trend on Wednesday, marking the third consecutive day of losses, as concerns about the impact of sanctions on Russia and the possibility of an output increase by OPEC+ weighed on the market.
Brent crude futures dropped by 7 cents, or 0.11%, to $64.33 per barrel by 0411 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also fell 7 cents, or 0.12%, to $60.08.
