Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has said that decreasing difficulties of people Punjab is the basic priority of the Buzdar government.
In his statement, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that the Punjab government is considering to link easing of lockdown to the following of precautionary measures.
The minister said that easing in lockdown is under consideration for businesses related to export having less crowdy adding that easing down in the lockdown will be carried out as per the prescribed regulations of the WHO. He said that ensuring to follow the government SOPs will be responsibility of the people and traders.
Fayyaz said that the global pandemic coronavirus inflicted heavy losses to businesses in Pakistan like other parts of the world. The Minister said that deaths from the coronavirus in the province are less than the other provinces.
He added that after the 18thconstitutional amendment the provinces are free to from their health, education, industries and businesses related policies.
Chohan said relaxation in the coronavirus lockdown will be according to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) proposed terms and conditional to implementation on precautions.
The provincial minister said that fatalities in Punjab due to COVID-19 are less than other provinces, and relaxation for export businesses is under consideration.
He stressed that the basic agenda of Buzdar government is to reduce public problems and it is the duty of people and traders to ensure implementation on the government’s standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Business in Pakistan has been severely damaged due to coronavirus just like the whole world, he said while adding that all provinces will be independent in policy making concerning health, education, industry and trade following the 18th amendment.
