KARACHI Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) along with Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday arrested two members of a proscribed organisation in an intelligence-based operation (IBO). According to a press release issued by Sindh Rangers, Sammiullah alias Arshad and Muhammad Jaffer alias Barkat were involved in the target killings of army, navy, rangers, police and political figures. Abdullah Danis, Naeem alias Master, Asim Kapri, Ishaq Bobby, Attaur Rehman alias Naeem Bukhari and Sabir alias Bhai Jaan were among the accomplice of the arrested. Attaur Rehman, who is said to be the mastermind behind the targetted attacks, and Sabir had already been arrested earlier, the press release added. The Sindh government had announced prize money of Rs5 million upon their arrest. A large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered during the IBO.
