Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah welcomed 11 newly inducted Assistant Commissioners from Punjab during a meeting held here, according to a spokesperson for the Chief Minister.
The new Assistant Commissioners, currently posted in various districts of Sindh for training purposes, had an introductory session with the Chief Minister.
Key officials present during the meeting included Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah, Principal Secretary Agha Wasif, Secretary to CM Rahim Sheikh, Secretary Services Ghulam Ali Burohmani, and Additional Secretary Services Agha Sher Zaman. Addressing the young officers, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah emphasized the importance of public service. “These are your training postings. During this time, resolve to serve the people,” he stated.
Highlighting the necessity of a strong and efficient public machinery, he added, “Our country needs the best government machinery, and I am hopeful that your inclusion in the civil service will prove to be a valuable addition.”
The CM further stressed the importance of skill-based expertise in today’s era, urging the Assistant Commissioners to develop their abilities to meet the demands of modern governance. The meeting concluded with an open discussion on the Assistant Commissioners’ careers, aspirations, and goals, with Chief Minister Shah providing guidance and encouragement for their future in the civil service.
