The Excise and Taxation Department has extended the deadline for the payment of vehicle token tax fees by an additional 15 days. According to details, if the token tax is not paid by the new deadline, the registration will be canceled, and a fine of up to 200% will be imposed. ED spokesperson mentioned that Smart Card users can pay the token tax fees through the Islamabad City app.
The deadline for payment has now been extended until January 31, and to facilitate citizens, the Excise counters will remain open until 8 PM.
