A man was shot dead by his friend in the Gulshan-e-Maymar area. The incident occurred near the Borthern Bypass, within the jurisdiction of the Gulshan-e-Maymar police station. Police and rescuers arrived at the scene and took the victim to Jinnah Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he was identified as 40-year-old Afzal, son of Allah Bakhsh.
Authorities confirmed that Afzal died from gunshot wounds after an argument with his friend. He succumbed to his wounds during treatment. Initial investigations suggested that the shooting occurred during a heated argument between the two men, although the exact reasons for the altercation remain unclear.
The suspect fled the scene after the incident. Afzal, a rickshaw driver and the owner of a puncture repair shop, was a resident of Ghaniabad. Police have registered a case.
