PESHAWAR – Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has called for the resignation of the provincial government over the situation in District Kurram.

Governor Faisal Karim said, “Kurram is burning, what are the provincial and federal governments doing? The provincial government cannot even open a Parachinar road; what else can it do?”

The governor demanded the resignation of the provincial government, saying that they have no agenda except for personal gains.

On the other hand, the head of PTI’s ally, Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Allama Nasir Abbas also criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

According to Allama Nasir Abbas, he urged the PTI founder to have the deputy commissioner changed. He also asked the chief minister to make the change but no one listened.

He further said that “150 people have been killed in Kurram, and neither the federal government, the provincial government, nor security agencies are seen there,”.
