Governor Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, arrived at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy in Islamabad, where he was warmly welcomed by UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi and other diplomatic staff.
During their meeting, the Governor and the UAE Ambassador discussed several key issues, including visa-related problems, the strengthening of bilateral relations, and opportunities to increase trade and investment between Pakistan and the UAE. Governor Tessori emphasized that the Pakistan-UAE relationship continues to grow stronger with time and expressed a desire to enhance trade between the two nations. He encouraged UAE investors to take advantage of the province’s promising sectors for investment.
The Governor also raised concerns about the challenges faced by Pakistanis seeking UAE visas, which the UAE Ambassador clarified were not due to government policies but were instead caused by travel agents.
Both parties committed to resolving the issue promptly. The UAE Ambassador reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to supporting a stable Pakistan and expressed interest in investing in various sectors in Sindh, marking another step towards further strengthening the economic ties between the two nations.
