University of Karachi (KU) has officially announced the second intake for its PhD degree programs, allowing interested candidates to apply from December 09 to December 16, 2024. KU Registrar, Professor Dr. Abdul Waheed, confirmed that admissions are available across multiple faculties, including arts and social sciences, science, engineering, pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, management and administrative sciences, education, and Islamic studies. Various institutes and centers are also offering PhD programs.
Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences: Arabic, criminology, economics, history, Islamic history, mass communication, Persian, philosophy, political science, psychology, Sindhi, social work, sociology, and Urdu. Faculty of Science: Agriculture, applied chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, botany, chemistry, computer science, food science.
