ISLAMABAD – The decision regarding bail applications of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi in a case related to fake receipts was postponed on Saturday.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Afzal Majoka had to announce the verdict but he was on leave.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi both were booked in the case with Kohsar police station.
On Friday, the court had reserved verdict on the bail plea of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi after hearing arguments of both sides in the case.
The lawyers of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi had to argue on the other bail matters. Bushra Bibi through her lawyers asked the court to grant her exemption from personal appearance before the court. The lawyers had told the court that there had been several cases against Bushra Bibi and they had to file bail pleas.
The latest reports say that the decision regarding the bail in fake receipts case will now be announced on Dec 17.
