ISLAMABAD – People across Pakistan recently observed a public holidays in the month of November on the account of Iqbal Day to pay tribute to national poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

The federal government issued the public and optional holidays schedule for 2024 in December 2023. The notification carries details regarding details of holidays for festivals of Muslims and minorities.

The public holidays are announced to mark significant occasions across the year. As per the official notification for calendar year 2024, there is no more public holiday in the month of July 2024 in Pakistan.

Upcoming Public Holiday in Pakistan

The upcoming holiday will be observed across Pakistan on December 25 (Wednesday) to mark the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.

The nation will celebrate the 148th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation with zeal and fervor on December 25 this year.
