The Tällberg Foundation has announced the selection of Dr. Iffat Zafar Aga, Cofounder and COO of SehatKahani, as one of 14 global emerging leaders for the 2025 Tällberg Leaders Mentoring Leaders (TLML) Fellowship Program.

Dr. Aga was chosen from a competitive pool of 818 applicants from 109 countries for her exceptional leadership in transforming healthcare through technology. The TLML program is designed to accelerate the growth of emerging leaders by pairing them with accomplished mentors from the Tällberg Foundation’s global network. The year-long mentorship will begin with a workshop at the University of Pavia in Italy from January 20-23, 2025.

Alan Stoga, Chairman of the Tällberg Foundation, emphasized, “Our world faces unprecedented challenges, and we need courageous, innovative leaders to navigate these complexities. The TLML program, in its second year, exists to accelerate the growth of such leaders by connecting them with seasoned mentors who have already made a significant impact in their fields.”

Michael Niconchuk, TLML Program Lead, highlighted, “This cohort includes leaders who are already driving meaningful change. Our goal is to support their growth by connecting them with mentors who understand the demands of global leadership and can help them reach their full potential and make even greater impacts sooner.”

Dr. Aga has been instrumental in redefining healthcare access in underserved communities across Pakistan through SehatKahani, one of the country’s leading telemedicine networks. With over 14 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and digital health sectors, she holds a medical degree from Ziauddin University and a Master’s in Global E-Health from the University of Edinburgh, as a Commonwealth Scholar.

Her leadership and contributions have earned her recognition on global platforms, including the Study UK Alumni Award 2024, USAID SHIFT Prize 2023, Heroines of Healthcare Award 2022, and the MIT Elevate Prize 2020.
