KARACHI – MDCAT 2024 retake is around the corner while final stretch of preparation is in full swing, with medical aspirants diving deep into revision, mock exams, and practice tests after the first results were stopped by court in the wake of paper leak controversy.

Ahead of the December 8 Restest, Sukkur Institute of Business Administration University IBA shared revised guidelines for candidates to be followed for smooth participation in exam.

MDCAT 2024

As per revised guidelines, medical aspirants must present their original admit slip along with one of the following valid documents for verification at the exam center.

Documents Details
Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) Valid ID card for Pakistani citizens for identification
Juvenile Card A form of identification for minors who are under 18
Passport For international students
Matric Marksheet 10th-grade exams academic results.
Inter Marksheet Academic result for Inter exam

Candidates who fail to bring the required documents will not be allowed entry into the examination hall.

Earlier this month, Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Sheikh, Vice Chancellor of Sukkur IBA University and CEO of STS, emphasized that the exam would be conducted under strict supervision to ensure transparency and uphold merit. This comes after a ruling by the Sindh High Court on November 15, 2024, which set a four-week deadline for the MDCAT retake.

MBBS and BDS applicants arrive on time and bring necessary documents to avoid any inconvenience on the exam day.
