KARACHI – Amid back-to-back tweaks, gold rates in Pakistan jumped on Thursday amid surge in international rates. In the domestic market, the price of bullion saw increase of Rs3700, clocking in at Rs278,000.

Price of 10 grams saw single day increase of Rs3,172, settling at Rs238,340, as per Sarafa Association. The fluctuation in local gold prices follows a smaller increase of Rs800 on Nov 21, when yellow metal was priced at Rs274,300 per tola.
On the other hand, price of gold also increased with the rate reaching $2,668 per ounce, with a gain of $37.
