Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori met Turkish Ambassador Irfan Naziroglu, who was accompanied by Consul General Cemal Sangu, at the Governor House. During the meeting, the Governor invited Turkish investors to explore investment opportunities in Sindh, emphasizing the province’s lucrative sectors, according to Governor House information on Tuesday.
Governor Tessori highlighted the significance of increasing trade between Pakistan and Türkiye, stating that diplomatic efforts would play a pivotal role in this regard. He also expressed gratitude for Türkiye’s unwavering support during Pakistan’s challenging times, noting that bilateral relations between the two nations have now evolved into a deep friendship.Ambassador Irfan Naziroglu affirmed the strong interest of Turkish investors in Sindh’s various sectors and expressed Türkiye’s desire to see Pakistan grow economically and defensively. He further mentioned that Türkiye has set up one of the largest stall at the ongoing IDEAS 2024 defense exhibition, reflecting the strong defense ties between the two countries.As part of his visit, the Turkish Ambassador toured Quaid-e-Azam’s historical room, gaining insights into the artifacts on display.
He also participated in a flag-hoisting ceremony and planted a tree under the Governor’s plantation drive.The visit underscored the mutual commitment of Pakistan and Türkiye to further strengthen economic and diplomatic relations.
