KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan registered significant recovery on Friday after recording losses in previous days of the running week.
According to Sarafa Association, per tola price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs2,000 to settle at Rs278,800 while the price of 10-gram increased by Rs1,715 to close at Rs239,026.
The precious commodity also witnessed upward trend in the international market as per ounce price surged by $21 to reach $2,683.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable in Pakistan as per tola and 10-gram were traded at Rs3,330 and 2,829.21, respectively.
A day earlier, per tol price of 24-karat gold plunged by Rs5,400 to settle at Rs276,800 whereas the price of 10-gram dropped by Rs4,630 to reach Rs237,311.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange has achieved another milestone on Friday as KSE-100 index crossed the 93,000 points ceiling for the first time in history.
During intraday trading, the 100-index gained 619.78 points to reach 93,140.26 as compared to previous day’s close of 92,520.48.
