Sardar Abdul Rahim, Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) Sindh and Secretary Information for the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), has condemned the Sindh government’s Farmer Card initiative, dismissing it as mere “political drama.

” According to Rahim, after allegedly misappropriating billions of rupees meant for rebuilding the homes of flood victims, the government is now opening new avenues of corruption in the name of farmers.

Rahim questioned, “How can poor farmers even own land?

” He argued that even those who do have land fear that the government may use Form 7 to strip them of their property, redistributing it to favored landlords and party loyalists, while embezzling the remaining funds.

Rahim highlighted that due to the distribution of substandard rice seeds, crops in districts like Jacobabad, Larkana, Khairpur, Thatta, Shikarpur, and Kashmore have seen over 60% damage, resulting in losses worth billions for farmers.
