Under the direction of CEO Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, the replacement of valves and repair of lines by the Water Corporation is being carried out 24 hours a day without any interruption on an emergency basis.
According to the Spokesperson of KWSC, the repair work will be completed on Wednesday and water supply to the city will be resumed as usual from Dhabeji Pumping Station soon after the repair work is completed.,
He said that to further improve the valves controlling system in the city, two butterfly valves are being installed and in this context, an important initiative has been taken by the new management of the KWSC for the betterment of the city.On this occasion, CEO KWSC Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that with the valves controlling system, fair and equal supply of water will be possible in the city because providing better water supply and sewerage facilities to the citizens is one of our top priorities.
He further said that I pay tribute to all the officers and employees KWSC including Chief Engineer KWSC Zafar Palijo and Superintending Engineer Syed Muhammad Ajaz because all officers and employees of KWSC are working day and night for the betterment of citizens.
