Members of the MuttahidaQaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) in the Sindh Assembly have embarked on an innovative initiative to address the dire state of education in the province. Opposition Leader Ali Khursheedi announced that each member has taken responsibility for three schools in their respective constituencies, effectively adopting them to improve their conditions. Sindh Education Department has officially issued a notification allowing assembly members to adopt schools.

Khursheedi emphasized the urgent need to rectify the education system in Sindh, stating, “The opposition has taken it upon itself to shoulder the responsibility of the dilapidated schools in the province.” He further noted that MQM-P believes in inclusive politics as a means to resolve the challenges facing Sindh.

“Since day one, we have expressed our desire for practical measures to enhance the education system,” Khursheedi remarked. Despite being in the opposition, MQM-P members are committed to addressing the issues plaguing Sindh, and Khursheedi characterized their initiative to adopt schools as a revolutionary step.
